Regional Hub LATIN AMERICA

Regional Hub Latin America is one of the five hubs of the Global Sanitation Graduate School. It is hosted by Technological University of Uruguay (UTEC) in Montevideo, Uruguay, and led by the Regional Director Prof. Hector Garcia. The hub is managed by the UTEC team together with a core team consisting of representatives of key partners from the region. Furthermore, the regional hub embraces academic institutions and supporting partners from practice from the majority of Latin American countries. Academic partners in the hub started with educational offerings under the GSGS in 2022. The first GSGS Master’s students in this region graduated in 2025.
