Its mission is to regulate utilities transparently and effectively to ensure quality, availability, and affordability, while promoting economic efficiency, consumer protection, environmental stewardship, and sustainable access – even for low‑income and rural communities. EWURA issues licenses, monitors standards, approves tariffs, resolves disputes, and drives public awareness to foster a world-class utility sector.
