Post-graduate Program in Non-sewered Sanitation

Kyambogo University through its Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, offers graduate training and research in specialized subject fields. The department recognises the ever-changing needs and requirement of advanced skills in the WASH sector. The Post Graduate Diploma in Non-sewered Sanitation is a unique interdisciplinary programme aimed to equip graduate students and professionals from various backgrounds (sanitary, civil, chemical, agricultural, environmental engineering; chemistry, ecology, biology, natural science, environmental science, public health, agriculture, environmental economics) working in the sanitation field with knowledge and skills to deliver non-sewered sanitation services in rural, peri-urban and urban communities in the context of the Global South. The program design and detailed course content have been prepared in cooperation with world-known experts in sanitation from academia and practice, with IHE Delft, as lead. It will build a professional base that embraces a deeper insight, advanced knowledge and greater confidence, in addressing sanitation challenges.
