M.Sc in Water and Sustainable Development
Universidad Tecnológica del Uruguay – UTECUTEC offers a Master’s Program in Water and Sustainable Development – Sanitary Engineering Profile, which consists of 10 courses followed by a final research thesis. The program aims to train professionals capable of designing wastewater treatment systems (industrial and municipal) and developing rational approaches to sustainable sanitation management, incorporating concepts of cleaner production and circular economy. Additionally, the program provides knowledge to integrate urban and peri-urban sanitation, as well as the skills needed to generate innovation and impact in this field. It is aimed at professionals working in industries, water and sanitation service providers, engineering firms, academia, professionals affiliated with technology laboratories, research institutes, and sectoral chambers, as well as professionals in general linked to the water and sanitation sector.
