Centre for Water and Sanitation Studies (CeWASS), is an interdisciplinary hub of learning in the Rivers State University with a mandate to provide academic and professional postgraduate programmes that will provide skilled and knowledgeable practitioners for the water, sanitation, and hygiene sector. The CeWASS will operate as a multicultural and inclusive learning space with staff, faculty and students from across the country and the globe that will bring a plethora of expertise, wisdom and knowledge to tackle contextual and peculiar water, sanitation and hygiene-related wicked problems. CeWASS aims to partner with top-notch global institutions to deliver Joint and Double Degrees, Professional short courses and innovative research. The key purpose is to produce highly motivated and productive graduates who are ready to close the gaps and manage the challenges of water and sanitation, particularly in the global south and Africa.
