M.Sc in Productive Sanitation

Institute of Environmental Sciences – ISE

With the aim of achieving a sustainable development objective for water and sanitation, Senegal has opted for the development of on-site sanitation, which can reach more people than collective sanitation. This involves developing new approaches and new technologies that are more inclusive, less costly, and able to guarantee privacy and protect the environment and people’s health. However, this political will is hampered by a lack of expertise to support the sector’s ambitions. The time has come to train qualified personnel in this field. The Master’s in Productive Sanitation provides skills in sanitation project planning, development and management, sanitation governance, advocacy for sanitation systems, and so on.
