Master’s in Integrated Sanitation Management
University of Dar es SalaamThe main objectives of the programme are to strengthen sanitation training, research and innovation capacity within and outside the country to improve and enhance sanitation services for all. Specifically, the Programme aims: to provide the country and the region with sufficient high level human power in integrated sanitation management in contributing to addressing and responding to the global, regional and national development challenges, to conduct research in the interest of suitable exploitation of human waste resources in Tanzania and the region, ultimately leading to innovation of technical products and production processes for the resource’s recovery and re-use, fostering a new generation of sanitation and academicians with the multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary understanding, skills and tools to advance the implementation of sustainable sanitation in Tanzania and beyond, and produce highly skilled, trained and qualified human resources base/human power in sustainable sanitation equipping students with the new knowledge and skills related to solving sanitation challenges and problems. It is 18 months programme full time.
