Waste management and its effect on economic growth (India)
To keep cities clean, municipal authorities, NGOs, and the private sector provide solid waste management services. Waste management is the collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of solid waste together with monitoring and regulation. It is a can-do at the crossroads of inputs from producers, users, and outputs to environmental compartments with the goal of clearing reducing and replenishing the real resources. In India, waste management is one of the top issues among policymakers’ government officials, environmentalists, social workers, etc. Solid waste is usually generated at a faster rate than it can be responsibly managed. Given their wide range of responsibilities, it remains one of the most significant challenges for local bodies to deal with waste in an environmentally responsible and practical manner. Therefore, innovative and cost-effective solutions are required. This paper presents research on findings of the cost-effective solutions to waste disposal. The design for this research is based utterly on different cases, of waste treatment. The study shows us that Solid waste management is inefficient and is the root cause for all the present waste seen outside. Hence, the major focus of study is on the solutions for solid waste generated at every scale that is individuals, society, and towns.
