Waste catchment wave breakers and catchment traps (India)

This study focuses on the effects of factors in solid waste generation and water pollution in the Arabian Sea of Mumbai, India. The direct solid waste disposal into water bodies and the untreated dumping sites are supposed to be some of the major causes of water pollution in India. The main objectives of this paper were to determine and evaluate the causal link between pattern and solid waste generation. Locating the major localities that contribute to the major of solid pollutants that are being discarded into the ocean. This paper main approach is to help control the major locations and add catchment unit to avoid large amounts of solid waste from enter the ocean and harming the environment.
