Sewage strategy development using the IFAS and EFAS methods (Indonesia)
Population growth and increased development activities in various sectors have caused various urban problems, one of which is domestic wastewater pollution. This gives rise to many achievement targets in order to reduce the pollution on an international, national and regional scale. Stakeholders at the regional level become the main line in making policy directions, regulations and implementing them in the field so that these achievement targets can be achieved. This study aims to determine alternative strategies for developing domestic wastewater management in South Tangerang City by considering the contribution of internal and external factors. In this study, a survey related to community participation in the planning activity program was conducted with a Likert scale and Paired Comparison. The survey was carried out to 100 respondents from the community in 7 sub-districts, as well as 10 sources from the local government of South Tangerang City who were directly related to the tasks and functions related to the development of domestic wastewater. The screening results from secondary data related to the domestic wastewater program in South Tangerang City obtained the main development planning programs including the Planning for the Development of the Domestic Wastewater (Grey Water) & Stool (Black Water) Management System, Sludge Treatment Plant (IPLT), Scheduled Sludge Service Management (LLTT) and Preparation of Regional Regulations on Domestic Wastewater Management and Service Charges.
