New cohort of eight GSGS MSc in Sanitation graduates at University of Zambia
We are proud to announce that on 21 May 2026, the School of Engineering at the University of Zambia graduated eight outstanding sanitation professionals from its Master of Science in Sanitation Programme.
The graduates successfully completed a rigorous curriculum that included advanced coursework, specialized laboratory training, and field research in Faecal Sludge Management (FSM), Urban Onsite Sanitation (OSS), and City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS).
The newly qualified sanitation specialists are:

- Lukwanda Chrispin
- Malama Kasalwe G.
- Mulyata Louisa
- Mwanza Penelope Misozi
- Ng’ambi Nkumbu Samuel
- Tambwe Gabriel Tembo Madalitso
- Tembo Racheal
These graduates are well equipped to take up strategic roles in regional water utilities, municipal councils, government ministries, and non-governmental organizations, helping to address critical institutional capacity gaps in the sanitation sector across Sub-Saharan Africa.
