GSGS Regional Hub India hosted an event with Gates Foundation at CEPT University

An engaging session was conducted as part of the Masters in Urban Infrastructure Studio, under the guidance of Prof. Mona Iyer and Mr. Siddh Doshi. The session featured valuable insights from esteemed guests Dr. Roshan Raj Shrestha, leading WASH , Asia at Gates Foundation and Ms. Anindita Mukherjee, Consultant Gates Foundation and Head CWAS, Mr. Aasim Mansuri and Mr. Dhruv Bhavsar. The key focus of the session was to provide a comprehensive understanding of the four core sectors of the Infrastructure Studio, specifically in the context of the Rajkot.

The guests shared their expertise on several crucial aspects of WaSH, including:

1. Importance of community engagement
2. Regulatory and Institutional frameworks
3. Importance of engaging with ULBs
4. Focus on Vulnerable groups

Their insights significantly deepened the participants’ understanding of the practical dimensions of infrastructure planning and development.
