GSGS Curriculum Integration Workshop in Nepal

On 8 October 2026, the Department of Environmental Engineering, Kathmandu University, successfully concluded a national-level workshop on integrating suitable components of the Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS) into the ME in Environmental Engineering curriculum.

The workshop brought together representatives from local governments, government agencies, and academia, providing a valuable platform for sharing diverse perspectives and engaging in fruitful discussions. The exchange of knowledge and experiences further strengthened the connection between academic learning and practical engagement in sustainable waste management.

We extend our special thanks to Prof. Dr. MD Imran Kabir of Shahjalal University for his valuable guidance and support in advancing the integration of the GSGS components into the curriculum.
