Around 600 ton per day of waste materials coming from multiple areas are received daily. Griyomulyo Landfill has Leachate Treatment Plant (LTP) and Sanitary Landfill. The purposes of this study were to review the LTP performance and develop recommendations that related to improving the performance of LTP Griyomulyo Landfill. Sampling were conducted for each unit process at LTP, starting from influent, anaerobic pond, aerobic pond and effluent. Efficiency calculations for each unit process, employee interview and surveys were conducted in this study as well. After obtaining the results, an analysis was carried out using the SWOT method. The results showed that leachate processing efficiency are good obtained from 23.1% to 99.3%; the LTP effluent quality had higher BOD and COD compared to its standard; inefficient process in the constructed wetland unit specifically related to TSS, BOD, COD and cadmium measurements; sample testing did not comply with the Regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Republic Indonesia Number 59 of 2016; access challenges due to flooding occurred in the area around the processing unit; no Leachate processing installation and emergency response SOP; and the slow response from external in handling of support units when damage occurred
