Design of 20 MLD sewage treatment plants (India)

This study is about domestic wastewater characterization followed by the design of a sewage treatment plant. It involves the analysis of parameters such as pH, total suspended solids, total dissolved solids, oil, fat and grease, BOD, chloride, residual chlorine, turbidity and dissolved oxygen. The sampling of the domestic wastewater has been done at different times of the day to have average data of the desired parameter. Depending on the values of these parameters, design calculations were carried out done for different units of 20 MLD sewage treatment plant.
