
ABOUT THE GSGS
Established in 2017, the Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS) is the world’s largest platform to facilitate the development and empower the dissemination of knowledge on sanitation through Master’s programs, diploma programs, online (self-study and instructor-led) courses, face-to-face (on-campus) courses, and tailor-made training, so that the world’s sanitation challenges can be embraced with deeper insight, advanced knowledge, and greater confidence. The GSGS has five regional hubs and its headquarters are in the Netherlands.

OUR MISSION
The Global Sanitation Graduate School envisions a world in which academic and capacity-building institutions collaborate with multi- country practices to co-create globally relevant sanitation knowledge, mainstream interdisciplinarity, sustainability and dynamism in their curricula, and to empower professionals working in the domain. The GSGS aims to embrace diversity, equity, safety and inclusion in acknowledgement of the complexity of sanitation challenges in the world and to lead to climate-responsive, resilient and livable habitats.

OUR VISION
We apply a collaborative approach to develop and disseminate geo-political context-specific knowledge on water, sanitation, and hygiene through graduate and post-graduate education, tailored professional training applying pedagogic innovations and fostering applied, interdisciplinary, innovative cutting-edge globally relevant research.
